Pro 1 Racing & Safety Products manufactures quality USA built components, specializing in racing seat belts. We manufacture (assemble and sew) our complete line of seat belts in house at our Fort Worth, TX facility. All our belts are SFI certified.
We are a NHRA National event contingency sponsor and the NHRA E.T. Finals.
Pro 1 Racing & Safety Products, LLC was formed by myself (Jeff Hefler) and Charlotte Hefler after a top end crash I was involved in at the NHRA National event in Denver Colorado (Top Sportsman). We looked at a lot of the current belts being produced and realizing so many were being built in other countries (Taiwan and China) we felt the need and urgency to produce better quality seat belt assembly's for the racers.
We use only the highest quality webbing materials, and hardware available as we believe this is a area where only the best is acceptable. There is no room for second best when it comes to safety.
At age 7 I took my first trip down the drag strip (Honda 50 mini bike) and at age 12 in a "big car". Since that time I have driven and competed in just about every kind of car/combination there is. Over the 40 years we have been racing we have been fortunate enough to have some success (and some not so successful times). We have been blessed by being able to win 3 NHRA Summit series World Championships, one Lucas Oil NHRA World Championship, several NHRA Division 4 Championships, several Jegs all star races as well, and lucky enough to accumulate over 80 NHRA "wally" trophies. So we know as racers what it takes, the time, effort and costs involved in racing. My brother owns several successful sprint cars, midgets, and mini sprints as we build quality specific belts for them as well.
When asked what sets us apart from other seat belt manufactures? It is our commitment to quality, personalized service, our 40 years of racing experience, the success we have had in racing and just the simple fact that we have actual real world racing experience that very few if any seat belt manufactures have and we still compete every chance we get. Experience and reputation can not be bought.
With Charlotte's many years in the corporate production planning material world combined with my experience as a racer we make a great team that is dedicated to producing quality products at an affordable price for racers.
A race cars quality should not stop with the seat belts!
Charlotte and I are still heavily involved in the day to day operations here at Pro 1 Racing & Safety Products as well as the R&D work for future products/improvements as we have an absolute passion when it comes to quality products.
